Weekend Shenanigans: College Station

Sami's Shenanigans

I don't even remember Thursday because it was such a blur of Christmas decorating.  For some reason it took extra long to get the house put together this year.  Ah!  That night we went back to my parents for Thanksgiving leftovers and to watch Bill Cosby's Comedy Central special.  Hilarious!

Saturday morning we celebrated Christmas with Isaac's family since we won't be going to Ohio in December this year.  We had a nice morning sharing gifts and being together.  The best thing was seeing that $100 had been donated to ACE for one of my presents.  Yippee!  That's a lot of food to keep a kiddo with its momma!

That afternoon Jacob went with Isaac, the pups, and me to College Station for our Christmas card pictures.  We met up with a sorority sister's sister who is a photographer, and we had great fun with Natalie!  She had really cute ideas for getting great shots of the pups, and Natalie is so laid back.  We can't wait to get our photos back!

Jacob snapped a few pictures of us just for fun afterwards.  Here's a peak at those:

Before we left Research Park, Isaac found us some mistletoe to take home.  :)

After the park, we drove Jacob around campus so he could see a bit of Aggieland.  We need to do a real visit soon, but with the dogs with us, it just wasn't the day for that.

Then we went to see our dear friends Ashley and Tim and their newborn son Andrew.  He's a sweetie, a talker, and just flat out cute!

Our last stop was for some Blue Baker goodness for dinner!  Yum!  Please, oh please open a location in southeast Houston!

Today was full of Christmas music and Advent.  If you need ideas on sharing Advent with teens, let me know!
