Laura's birthday was a week ago, but the Pearce side of the family couldn't all get together until Saturday. How all 8 of us can live so close but not see each other more is nuts. We're too busy, y'all.
Regardless, we had a great time celebrating Laura. Er, maybe it was more like playing with the baby and Laura got to blow out candles. I hate to say it, but I think our kid is stealing the spotlight. Oops. But he's so fun! He loves when all 3 dogs are together, when his family is together, and putting on a show for us.
And does anybody else have mommy brain moments where something can be right in front of your face, like a birthday card on the kitchen counter, and yet you still forget all about it? Yep, got a good laugh out of that one. Lucky for Laura, her present was in the diaper bag, so at least she got that.
Laura, we adore you, and we're so glad you had a birthday so we had a reason to be together again!
